My role included leading a team of National Organisational Experts who were responsible for the development and maintenance of sound and contemporary practice across the client service streams across the organisation in each state and territory. These areas included but were not limited to Out of Home Care, Disability, Mental Health, Refugee and Asylum Seekers, Aged Care. I was responsible for the development and implementation of the Client Death in Care Review Committee as well as the establishment of a client high risk register and associated practice protocols and strategies.

Within this role I was responsible for the oversight of all clinical services within Life Without Barriers and providing clinical supervision to all State and Territory Clinical Services Managers and senior clinicians. I developed a best practice approach to the governance and management of all Restricted Practices instances within the organisation across jurisdiction and sector. In addition to this I undertook the development and implementation of a National approach to the review and management of clients deemed as presenting high risk to themselves, others or the organisation. Within this role I also developed the organisations approach to Therapeutic Residential Care including the framework, associated policies and approaches as well as a unique interactive experiential training program for prospective and existing therapeutic residential staff.
