This collaboration was recognized in 1997 by National Congress of Managed care for a small provider working with a multinational HMO to develop standards of care to creative inhome treatment as a separate clinical pathway for psychiatric treatment with admission,continuation and discharge criteria demonstrated reduced risk, hospitalzations and providing a high level of care for over 1200 clients and that was cost effective. The Astra-Merck Award of $2500 ( was donated to county Mental Health Association) was given in recogntion of this collaboration, service and the research of this joint venture. 2008 received 100% from United Behavioral Health Joint Commission inspection of clinic operation and services. The clinic provided an average 1200 hours of treatment a month.
