As a FE Lecturer and HE Pathway Leader I deliver, monitor and assess a number of NVQ and BTEC accredited units/courses to Post 16 young people. The units/courses at Levels 3, 4 and 5 include: Digital Image Capturing & Editing, Image Manipulation using Computer Applications, Website Design and 3D Design Techniques & Animation. As part of my current teaching role it is also my duty and responsibility to record and update student records and registers via Pro-Monitor and QLS Online Registers and compile Schemes of Work, Lesson Plans, engaging Assignment Briefs and dual platform Teaching Resources for each of the modules and units I teach. The experiences and skills I’ve gained and further developed since being employed by Barnsley College include; classroom management, positive rapport with fellow colleagues’ and students, plus creating ILT teaching resources for Moodle and Uni-Learn.
