    I have trained 8 employees in the Cash Room duties. I balance the safe before and after daily cash processing, fulfill change request orders and prepare cash funds for over 65 registers ensuring the correct number of each denomination is present, calculate daily profit from cash and checks and prepare deposits for DTS before store open each day. I am responsible for monitoring and addressing suspected issues by deciding the best course of action for that specific issue in question and/or reporting it to the appropriate individual(s) in a timely fashion. I record daily AM and PM safe counts as well as create deposit forms on the DTS website, I use the program Glory to input the excess cash, checks received, vouchers used and cash orders made from the previous business day by register and count the amount of cash on hand to calculate the profit. This ensures the records on the computer match what I have found in the bags from each register and allows me to prepare daily deposits as well as all of register funds for the following day. I use several other programs daily to assist me in discovering the sources of discrepancies I find as well as report them and view reports or alerts that have been directed to me. In addition to all of the virtual recording and reporting, every step of the process is backed up by a physical report consisting of many documents that I date, sign, and file away daily. I monitor records done on my days off and organize the filing of all accounting records. I am also responsible of keeping track of and managing the lost and found that contains sensitive customer information as well as valuables and electronics.
