I was Public Relations Specialist in a 2-person department at public television station WDCN-TV before it transitioned to to the name WNPT-TV. My duties included writing press releases, editor of Preview, the program guide, writing copy for on-air promotion spots, writing ad copy for the annual live on-air fundraising auction, and photographer on special projects. This work included involvement in country music specials and other productions produced by WDCN.

Greamly Press was a small magazine publishing house owned by Fred Gregg, a Nashville entrepreneur. During the citizen band (CB) radio craze he started a nationally distributed magazine called CB Times-Journal. I transitioned from writer to editor and was in charge of day to day operations: writing, photography and editing of articles written by freelancers. The publication was suspended when Greamly Press as closed.
