Provided strategic leadership for a major content workflow, ensuring that my team had access to all resources, process documentation, and schedules. Effectively coordinated all deliverables with other departmental teams and with external stakeholders/vendors. Oversaw a diverse advisory committee of post-secondary and secondary instructors for content and fairness reviews of SAT pre-tests. Founded the internal Diversity Task Force, which made editorial policy recommendations that align to current antibias discourse for test content. Directed preparations for Fall 2016 launch of Digital SAT, with special focus on alternative testing formats, to ensure that students with disabilities had the necessary testing accommodations. Redesigned the SAT essay task in 2016 with President & CEO David Coleman and key strategic partners to focus on analytical writing and command of evidence; drafted the task design, multidimensional scoring rubric, and prompt template language. Spearheaded the California Accuplacer (College Board’s community college placement exam) fairness & sensitivity review panel; drafted fairness guidelines, facilitated training, moderated committee meetings, designed review protocol, and reported out results to program.
