As an R&D scientist at IZon Science, my project focuses on working with different instruments like EXOID, qNano working on the Tunable Resistive Pulse Sensing (TRPS) principle and other instruments like Automatic Fraction Collector (AFC) and Size exclusion columns aiding the process. These devices are efficient in small-scale and high-throughput processing of biologicals samples like Extracellular vehicles (EVs), lipid nanoparticles, viruses and virus-like particles, and various synthetic particles

PhD degree in 'Micro-fluidic device measuring the Electrotactic and Chemotactic activity of zoospores', University of Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand. The movement of the pathogens in response to electric fields is one way in which they are thought to locate their hosts. A novel microfluidic platform design and fabrication of the platform and associated microelectronics was fabricated. The platform contained arrays of micro-electrodes that generate an electric field of defined strength in a micro-chamber into which feed inlet and outlet channels for entry and exit of media and microorganisms. To demonstrate applicability of the platform, motile zoospores of the pathogenic oomycete Phytophthora nicotianae were seeded in the inlet and a voltage along with chemoattractant was applied to investigate the electrotactic and chemotactic responses of the zoospores. This platform offers a unique opportunity to study the movements that may be responsible for the ability of the pathogens to locate and invade host tissue.
