    I have over 30 years of yacht insurance expertise. I began my career at CIGNA where I handled the yacht class for both the Personal and Commercial underwriting departments. In 1986, I joined Chubb as a Yacht Underwriter and was responsible for the yacht business from approximately 3500 producers throughout the United States and Canada.In the early 90’s I spent time as a Personal Lines Underwriter in Chubb's National Account Center. In the mid-90’s I returned to Yacht to serve as the Assistant Yacht Underwriting Mangaer. I was involved with catastrophe management, facultative and treaty reinsurance, marketing, staff training, and producer development. Several years ago, I was a leader in designing, building and the successful implementation of a P.C. knowledge based underwriting system which allowed dramatic cost savings and rapid, efficient response to clients.I was promoted to Worldwide Yacht Underwriting Manager in 1998, I was responsible for the strategies, rates and underwriting guidelines for boats and yachts in the United States, Canada, Brazil and Europe.
