Teacher
-
Apr 1981 - Aug 2011
As an Elementary School Teacher I gained a vast amount of experience in data analysis, customer service, organization, teamwork, as well as quick and accurate data entry. My strengths and my passion for people of diverse backgrounds were my greatest assets. Facilitation, demonstration and modeling of ideas and concepts were exceptionally fun and allowed me to use my artistic side to encourage that development in others.

Assembly Packer
-
Apr 1979 - Apr 1980
At Wilkerson Corporation I put to use a love of building and planning. As an Assembly Packer I used quick and efficient planning, organization and completion. I also learned how to use forklifts-both standing and pallet with great success. I volunteered in other areas to get an idea and a feel for the scope of the manufacturing facility.

Store Associate
-
Oct 1974 - Apr 1979
Duckwall's Department Store was the greatest training of my diverse business skills. I started as a part time cashier and developed a thorough understanding of marketing and ordering products for the Toys and Floral Departments. Listening to customer's needs and facilitating the Store Manager's goals in increasing sales became an exciting and dynamic process. I was enrolled in Business Education in school and learned the foundation of having fun but being successful in the Business Industry.
