• Managed a staff of 10 to deliver targeted published information services to meet business needs via document delivery, 6 library collections of print materials and a suite of desktop electronic sources.• Maintained flat budget for materials despite rising costs by evaluating business needs and canceling less-used materials.• Contributed to a cost-saving initiative by closing one reading room with lower level of use (after consulting with key users and arranging services for them); over $60,000 in annual materials cost was saved and space valued at $300,000 was returned to the business for conversion to needed office space.• With UK counterpart, led the international process team, which inventoried and developed a funding model for the portfolio of published information products, which delivered electronic information sources to the desktop.• With a team of product specialists, rolled out a suite of desktop information sources to Latin American operating companies to put key information sources they might not otherwise have access to on the desktops of users.• Led a team which examined and evaluated current biomedical desktop sources and systems and recommended a short-term and medium-term strategy.• Gathered and reported metrics for Published Information (PI) products and services and represented PI on a team, which developed a value, scale for sources.• In recognition of the move toward virtual libraries, co-wrote a position paper on the trend toward the virtual library and its consequences for physical library facilities and contributed to a strategy paper on linking solutions.• Planned and implemented the rollout of the GW Product Thesaurus to local operating companies worldwide, providing them with promotional materials and user education materials.
