    As Stores Manager, I hold all the responsibilities of Stock Controller whilst also managing a 6-man team comprised of an Inventory Controller, Stores Team Leader and 4 FLT Drivers.I have taken a more active role in assessing production KPIs including root cause analysis of non-conformance from both production factories, and deep delve analysis of common non-conformances to reduce future occurrences.I have also begun to gain knowledge in the purchasing side of the business, establishing new business leads to reduce cost to the business in both monetary value and supply chain delays.

    Responsible for all raw material on site, organising and reconciling perpetual stock counts on a weekly/monthly basis, and produce reports on both stock value/stock damages. Rotation of stock through weekly/monthly MRP to ensure minimal overstocking and reduce potential of shortages. Managing any non-conformance on finished goods to ensure products leave site in a complete manner with the shortest delays possible, and working closely with suppliers to provide accurate dates for completion.

    Responsible for requisition, receipt and issue of all MoD commodities as required from consumable stores to hazmat including ammunition, flammables and other ADR materiel. I was also responsible for daily audit of materiel transactions to ensure compliance with MoD policy resulting in 2 consecutive Green/"no improvements to be made" for the G4 section of the LSA&I.

    A varied role centred around facilitating the day-to-day regime of the prison estate, including radio communication handling, prisoner communication censoring, and both professional/prisoner visits. This role developed professional aspects and a security conscious attitude. I was responsible for implementing a new process in the property handling to reduce losses of prisoner property, resulting in less claims against the estate, and increasing morale amongst the prisoners.
