    The Trust co-ordinates the partnership funding and restoration of large redundant listed buildings, across the UK, to generate local community benefit reporting to the Board for the administration and financial management of the Trust and project co-ordination. Achieved operational budget targets in the planning and implementation of strategic and business plans including the finances of the Trust, generating external funds as required; Successfully managed the Trust’s first project - the restoration and conversion of two large mill buildings at Stanley Mills in Perthshire, described as ‘one of the most remarkable restoration projects in the UK’ and ‘one of the finest industrial restoration projects in the world’; prepared business and funding plans for future projects, being developed, at Plymouth, Cardiff, Gosport and Paisley (total budget £30 million).

This included the servicing and recruitment of members, the administration of CBI Scotland Council and sub-committees, maintaining contacts with Government at all levels both directly and through the press and publications, and the operation of a programme of conferences and meetings.
