Chief Financial Officer of a three-person senior management team that conceptualized the opportunity to construct and operate an additional cellular network in Puerto Rico. Negotiated the sale of the company’s assets to Nextel Communications.

In January 1989, the Diversified Financing Operations of Ford Motor Credit Company was combined with U.S. Leasing International, a 1987 Ford Motor Company acquisition. • Vice President, US Capital Equipment.Responsible for the development and operations of the Privatization Financing Group within U.S. Leasing. The Group provided financing for privately-owned facilities that serviced municipal entities. Efforts were focused on financing environmental facilities including potable water, wastewater and solid-waste treatment facilities. The group financed assets in excess of $1.0 billion.• Investment Officer, Diversified Financing Operations, Ford Motor Credit Company. I was one of three individuals that developed the Municipal Financing Group from a conceptual stage to the most profitable group within Diversified Financing Operations. The Group specialized in asset-based tax-exempt financing serving municipalities nationwide. Assets grew in excess of $1.2 billion with 25 employees.
