MIG Welder

Sep 1994 - Mar 2013
I was a MIG welder for nineteen years, producing AM and OE exhaust systems. In this time that I worked at the company I received and passed training in various different areas of the business, and on many different types of machinery. As this is the company where I spent most of my working life, I have acquired a vast amount of skills. I am able to; read IP and standards drawings, as well as being qualified to drive a fork lift truck, hand truck and wide-bodied OPT. Due to my high skill level and positive work ethic I have always grasped opportunities given, some of which include further NVQ's in; business improvement techniques levels 1, 2 and 3, a team leader team building course, and working overseas for Bosal Denmark and Bosal Tredegar.

Technician Welder

2013 - 2013
My role at this employment was to build bus chassis to a regulated standard, as well as making sub- assemblies. Although this was only a three month contract, I feel I contributed to the role well and as part of a team.
