I worked here during the summer periods whilst i was taking further and higher education. Other dates i worked here are June to September 1989; June to September 1990 and June to September 1991. The company sells ferry crossings across the Solent between Portsmouth and Ryde, Isle of Wight. It also sells tourist coach tours of the island in conjunction with the islands tourist board. Originally i was based at Clarence Pier - an office that was only open during the summer, where i ran the office myself. Whilst there, i broke all records for ticket sales from the pier for coach tours around teh Isle of Wight. Unfortunately the office had to close, so i had to move to a permanent office at Portsmouth Harbour.
