We started in 1998 with the purchase of our first duplex in Fort Lauderdale, FL which was a home run. After we closed we quickly improved the property and increased the rents over 30% and the value of the property by 45%. We loved it and we were hooked. We bought and sold multiple properties through the years totaling over 279 rental units with acquisitions and dispositions totaling $32 million. Our largest acquisition was 123 units on 7 acres in Jacksonville, FL.
