The store was written about in the New York Times a few times, once in a half page report.

Rogers & Cogswell started with a kiosk at 61st and Fifth Avenue in New York, then expanded with kiosks at Bryant Park, Union Square and Battery Park, then opened a bookstore in Hoboken, N.J. It also had a publishing company that published two books: "Hoboken Portraits" by photographer David Plakke and "The Jersey Side" by cartoonist Jim Ryan.
