    I am the Computer Science pathway teacher at Mervo. Mervo is Mergenthaler Vocational Technical High School in Baltimore City, MD. I am using the PLTW curriculum for my pathway students, CSE and AP CSP. This year(20-21) is the second year of my pathway. I also teacher the Foundations of Computer Science course, this is an intro required course for students. My current focus is on developing data science focus areas for the students. 1. immigration law and impacts. 2. civic laws, like redlining, housing authorities, water bills. 3. Commercial impacts, like mortgage or insurance rates, and commuting costs. The areas will be determined by the students and their interests.

In addition a law clerk serves the court as a mediator in small claims disputes. During the year, we get learn about the arcane and modern procedures and regulations of the court system.

    COBOL developer, data anaylsis, data migration, systems development. I was part of a development team that directly interfaced with regional and national clients, managing large data sets, daily updates, and transitions between multiple databases. As a member of this team, I interpreted client requests and demands to develop new subsystems, value added reports, and complex data analysis. Lockheed Martin IMS was sold to Affliated Computer Services (ACS) becoming ACS State and Government Solutions. I transferred to the client site in Washington DC. In DC I continued supporting the local region with development, but also expanded my role to directly support on-site staff and client resources in development and expansion of services offered.
