      Project Geologist for the development of the Woodsmith Project, UK. Current role is project-wide heavily involved in the Production & Service shafts (1580m), MTS shaft (360m) at Woodsmith mine site, Lockwood Beck Intermediate MTS shaft (380m), and Wilton site the starting point of the 37km TBM driven 6mOD Mineral Transport Tunnel). Acting as project manager and site supervision for Sirius and working extremely closely with leading UK ground investigation contractors, consultants, UK and European laboratories as well as non-standard rock testing including long term creep, rock triaxial & tunnelling-specific testing.Nearly 24 months of ground investigation across the project including;Woodsmith Phase 6 - shallow 50-120m fully cored geotechnical investigation including hydrogeological insitu testing as well as extensive laboratory testing. MTS Phase 2 and 2a - investigation to drive the technical delivery of the Woodsmith & Lockwood Beck MTS Shafts and Caverns as well as MTS Drive 1, 2 and 3. Fully cored boreholes including inclined boreholes to a depth of 500m all inclusive of extensive insitu (single & double packer testing, insitu stress determination, HPDT) and laboratory testing utilising contractors and laboraties in the UK and Europe.Client geologist/engineer involved in delivery of 100m SCL tunnelling for pre-TBM launch tunnel for MTS Drive 1 and now MTS D1 6m OD TBM hard rock open face tunnelling including face inspections and forecasts/lookaheads. Alongside this also implementing shaft logging procedures for Production, Service and 2x MTS Shafts and undertaking shaft logging checks and lookaheads.
