Established detailed KPI and drill-down reporting from the P&L for each division to first understand the key value and loss drivers. Implemented a TMS to improve efficiencies relating to dispatch and routing, data quality, and customer self-service tools. Deployed GPS tracking across the fleet to improve visibility, in-cab communication, and, to incorporate “real time” information into decision making. Issued pricing increases and demarketed select accounts/lanes to drive improved operating ratio. Organizational changes to build stronger foundation - improve driver recruitment/retention, enhanced analytical capabilities, cross-functional collaboration and workflows, and culture.
