    Supply Chain Solutions (2004-2008)Complete P&L and operational responsibility for the national distribution network of a major Canadian apparel retailer with 400 stores. Was the lead 3PL stakeholder in transforming this Client’s supply chain to align with and help drive their push towards $1 billion in annual retail sales. Consolidated distribution facilities within the GTA into a greenfield campus; oversaw transition and exit from two sites; installed automation to improve efficiency and throughput capacity; introduced labour management and enhanced productivity standards; oversaw planned facility expansion. Opened brownfield site in Western Canada; oversaw site selection to network re-optimization to stabilization. Oversight of first to final mile transportation services – inbound from supplier, transloading, crossdocking and transfers, store delivery and store support.Transportation (2000-2004)Led successful business transformations of two underperforming business units – one asset based, the other non-asset based. Established detailed KPI and drill-down reporting from the P&L for each division to first understand the key value and loss drivers. Implemented a TMS to improve efficiencies relating to dispatch and routing, data quality, and customer self-service tools. Deployed GPS tracking across the fleet to improve visibility, in-cab communication, and, to incorporate “real time” information into decision making. Issued pricing increases and demarketed select accounts/lanes to drive improved operating ratio. Organizational changes to build stronger foundation - improve driver recruitment/retention, enhanced analytical capabilities, cross-functional collaboration and workflows, and culture.
