    After selling my Warkworth practice to a friend and local Accountant I have ventured to Albany and purchased a much larger practice with 10 staff and over double the client base. As well as being roughly 30% property focused we also deal with business valuations, assistance both into and out of businesses, property development assistance, business mentoring and growth assistance as well as building a core network of XERO advisors to deal with our bookkeeping and fixed pricing side of compliance.

    After the Demerger of BCK Accountants I now run my own practice with four staff and we specialise in business accounting with a view to assisting clients in growing their business, making sure their structures are correct and we also look at refinancing where necessary. With a small highly trained senior team the emphasis is on providing a quality service and quick turnaround time for all queries and compliance work. As we are located in semi rural area many of our farming clients have become default developers so I have also developed a strong interest in both land development and all types of property investment from residential rental to larger scale commercial.

    I purchased this practice after turning down a partnership opportunity at Withers & Co. Mike Sharp was a well know identity in the Warkworth community and had a good stong client base and was very helpful with assisting me into the practice. Over the three years of running this practice on my own I managed to increase the client base by a further 33% before merging with Bavage Chapman and forming Bavage Chapman Knight (BCK) Limited.
