    Lead, coordinate and manage four technical spares warehouses located in Anadarko, Hugo and Mooreland Oklahoma and Lovington, NM. Make regular visits to locations to review safety, housekeeping and workload activities.     In this role, I was promoted to oversee all warehousing functions and activities at a facility producing soda ash and sulfite products. I manage inventory optimization efforts, material expediting, process improvement projects, and warehouse reorganization efforts. I supervise 8 Storekeepers; administer $650K annual warehouse budget. I also notify Planners regarding material delivery issues, and resolve all material-related problems. Key Contributions:• Improved functionality and feasibility of Green River Warehouses by implementing Maintenance, Repair & Operation (MRO) Project based on Best in Class standards. • Drove efforts to optimize inventory; reviewed and implemented Xtivity program, which makes recommendations on min/max levels based on lead times of materials and job dates. • Identified $1M+ in excess inventory that will be burned off within 1 year by establishing appropriate min/max setting within Xtivity. • Identified non-moving inventory and relegated it for review as obsolete. • Saved $20K per month by identifying expense/time-wasting safety & consumable item handling process and replacing it with 28 vending machines to manage all stocked consumables and safety items.• Boosted warehouse efficiency and enabled Warehouse Storekeepers to spend more time on kitting and inventory control through implementation of vending machines. • Slashed expenses, saved keypunch man-hours, and reduced input error by collaborating with Maintenance Planners to develop kitting process for work orders; implemented Automatic Goods Issue Process (AGIP) through SAP System. • Saved equivalent of 2 FTEs in maintenance department by implementing kitting process, attributable to parts being kitted, labeled, and ready to go. • Initiated physical warehouse reorganization project aimed at relocating non-moving critical spares to remote warehouse and bringing bearings, pumps, and motor items closer to work areas.
