Partner in the firm’s Real Estate Practice at the Northside (North Atlanta) office. Specialize in all areas of residential and small commercial real estate, lending, development and finance. Manage legal issues associated with the full range of planned community development and finance, including representing developers, builders and lenders in planned communities and assisting with the creation, documentation and financing of all types and sizes of planned real estate developments. Assist with the formation of the ownership entities, the drafting of the necessary documentation and compliance with applicable statutes, including the Georgia Condominium Act, the federal Interstate Land Sales Full Disclosure Act (ILSA) and its state counterparts and the FNMA, FHLMC and FHA/VA approval process, when applicable. Instructor for the Dogwood Learning Institute, a school approved by the Georgia Real Estate Commission, to provide continuing education to licensed brokers and agents on legal matters and concerns. Provide advice on the management and operation of the owners associations and advises developers and builders in their sales and marketing activities.
