    - Integrated Ghana’s centralized public sector digital payment API to allow the collection of taxes and government payments through multiple channels (bank, mobile, web) thereby widening the tax-net to accommodate both formal and informal sectors 2- Managed and maintained system uptime for Mysql Database Management Systems for the company’s collection platform running across multiple banks in Ghana- Administer and provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for Linux/Unix based application servers across multiple banks by implementing automated monitoring tools for system self-healing and for sending alerts to support officers to take proactive measures. - Implemented RESTFUL and SOAP web services of third parties such as schools, hospitals and other service providers to allow the customers of the third-party merchants to have access to multiple avenues to make payments. This in turn increased revenue for us as a company as a result of an increase in the volume of transactions done on our platform. - Developed customized applications and tools to aid internal users to provide timely and excellent Level 1 support to our customers- Wrote a technical document for the migration to the AWS cloud of a legacy application running on-premises.

    - Learned Java Spark framework on the job to develop a customer information repository for the bank’s customers within a short time. This provided bank tellers immediate access to customer information thereby ensuring business continuity during a major data migration. - Developed a Java Spark application to assist bank tellers to quickly translate account numbers of bank customers from an old format to a new one by the click of a button. This significantly shortened the Turnaround Time (TAT) to serve each customer from minutes, when done manually, to seconds when using the application.

    - Built and managed a Database Management Systems for the bank’s internal API Gateway (API HUB) and administered the Linux/Unix based application servers. This provided a structured and centralized hub for the bank’s services and our third-party integrations. - Integrated RESTFUL/JSON and SOAP/XML web services of third-parties into the bank’s API Gateway to be made available to the bank’s applications for both internal and external bank customers.- Developed a mobile web application to enable both internal and external customers access bank services and as a result decongesting banking halls of human traffic and cutting the cost of having to purchase third-party software.- Implemented RESTFUL APIs for the bank’s services to extend to the bank’s payment channels (ATM, Internet banking, Mobile) and also to third-party customers who will use it on their platforms.
