    My role relied very heavily on troubleshooting, problem-solving in a systematic manner, and allocating my time effectively to meet multiple concurrent deadlines. I maintained, repaired, and operated 4 digital printing presses, and did a few daily hours of work with Adobe CS products. I worked with anywhere from 50-100 art files each day in a variety of formats and was responsible for roughly 75% of all the printing that came through the business.

    Mosaic is an FSC and G7 Certified Master Printer with over $36 million dollars in annual sales, and over 120 employees. I ran 2 HP Indigo 5500’s, and also did pre-press work with a variety of programs. Most of my work was with large quantity variable data direct mail pieces, coil bound course books for technical institutes, saddle stitched brochures, postcards, business cards, and marketing kits. Major clients include Comcast, Verizon, Conservation International, and Fannie Mae.

    I worked for one of the largest label & packaging companies on the east coast, and we consistently did work for Fortune 500 companies. I was a digital printer, but also did pre-press work with Adobe CS about 6 hours a day. Extremely Illustrator and Photoshop intensive. My department worked very closely with art files provided by the customer, and did regular overflow work from the graphics department. When a designer was either sick or on vacation I’d often fill in for them to help out the other designers. Examples of clients include Target, 3M, Valvoline, Gillette, Hanes, and Yoplait.
