Designed miniature camera power supply for use in the Deepsea Challenge project- Capable of an ultra-quiet 1.25 amps over wide temps in an area the size of a nickel- High efficiency and small footprint enabled a lower-cost, customized titanium enclosure*Migrated design for motion control hardware platform- Moved to ARM Cortex-M4 architecture, replaced Freescale 56F807 processor- Allowed software designers to simplify code and expand functionality w/o cost increase*Responsible for design/update/production of all PCBs associated with motor control*Designed impedance-controlled, differential-signal routing boards for video sync data- Currently used in CPG's “Shadow” rigs for feature films- Eliminated a cable bundle and external distribution amplifier unit which reduced weight*Determined and implemented new rig features- Example: internal timecode & genlock generation with battery backup
