    Mainstream Aquaculture group are pioneers in the barramundi Industry, operating multiple facilities in Melbourne/Queensland, including; five nurseries, 1,000mt land based grow-out (RAS), three hatcheries, three brood-stock units, two pond farms and an R&D centre. Under the corporate services sector of the business, the primary role consists of assisting overseas clients in the successful management of farming strategies. Daniel has worked across nearly all of Mainstreams facilities, gaining a broad array of experience and knowledge. -Previously appointed in Australia primarily focusing on the recirculation hatchery/nursery (30million juveniles per annum). -Production/farming review of a large twenty-four sea cage barramundi farm in the Persian Gulf (30 days). -System design & nursery updates, strategies and procedures in Indonesia (three-months).-The two newly acquired Queensland nurseries required engineering updates which Daniel designed, built and tested; pushing the RAS systems to its limits. Along with high density protocols, the team were trained in high bio-mass loading. -Managed one of the world’s largest barramundi nurseries in the Middle East; the system is a pump ashore recirculation farm (12-million juveniles annually). Increased output production by 240% on previous years due to implementing management protocols/procedures, without system updates or expansion (six months).
