    Graduate in four months.We have condensed a two year course to 4 (four) months. To become a Certified Optician, normally takes about 2 years in most of the thirty some schools in the nation. Graduates are prepared to sit for the National Boards to become a Certified Optician (ABOC)Employment opportunities are very good. There seems to always be openings in this field. Plus, one can open their own Opticianry to provide lenses and frames to patients. Classes are small (8 to 14 students) enabling access to the instructor and learning environment.
