The scheme involved widening the motorway from three lanes to four lanes in both directions. Responsibilities & Achievements: Whilst working for the materials team, my responsibilities included sampling and testing of soils, aggregates, Asphalt and concrete to all relevant standards within a UKAS accredited laboratory. Reporting of results for compliance, obtaining material approvals, undertaking laboratory safety audits, internal audits, briefings and toolbox talks to other staff.
