    As an AmeriCorps Member, I served as the family’s primary contact with the Birth & Beyond (B&B) Program. Under the direction of the Team Leader, I was responsible for developing a relationship with the family and working in their home and community to build upon each families strengths. I provided culturally responsive services and referrals/resources to enhance social/emotional development of the families with children 0-18 years. As a Home Visitor, I used communication to build trust bridges between the family, child protective services, social services and mental health systems. I performed all duties with a strength-based, culturally responsive and trauma informed approach.
