    ◾Identify opportunities for the Select Group in other countries.◾Provide a high level business plan assessing the potential for the roll out of the Select business into other countries.◾Ensure ongoing review of business development opportunities and strategies by region, country and for the Group.1.Operations:◾Negotiate and secure trading licences and deduction codes in new jurisdictions.◾Facilitate the operational component of entry into new countries and new business areas, as and when these arise.◾Manage initial Greenfield infrastructure set-up, policy setting, procurement, recruitment, training and marketing.1.Product Development:◾Identification and development of new product opportunities.◾Provide a high level business plan for the implementation of new product platforms for rollout across the Select Group’s retail operations.1.Market Intelligence:◾Conduct ongoing Market Intelligence (analysing and reporting on the operating environments).◾Identify and analyse new trends in microfinance.◾Maintain a knowledge library on regulatory, legislative, taxation, competitors, economic and trading conditions.1.Relationship Management:◾Ensure that the image of the organisation is consistently presented in a strong and positive light to relevant stakeholders.◾Develop and maintain strong relationships with Government, Regulators, local service providers and banks.
