    In this current role in Sky’s Creative department, I’m mostly focusedin creating Motiongraphics for promos, brand campaigns and On Air. My creative and technical approach is essential in creating user friendly mograph templates. When time allows, I also produce promos. I enjoy the collaboration in creating promos and graphics. Working closely with producers, designers and clients.

    As one of two editors in Sky’s graphics department, I provide online editing and motion graphics design for our promo team.. When Prime TV had a total rebrand, I was tasked with rolling out these designs to all parts of On Air from Presentation elements to Promos. I also continually update the branding, utilising my strong After effects skills in combination with design aesthetics and brand awareness in a practical manner.

    Supervising Promo online, Motion graphics and Programme prep at Sky’s Albany site. Managing rosters, staff and contractors, the editing equipment and work flows. Liaising with Programming, Scheduling, Library, On Air, Promos, Ad Sales, Media-operations and Technology to ensure the delivery of content for On Air play out. In my “spare time” still creating motion graphics for Promos, Ad Sales and Marketing and also produce Promos for Prime. Provide technical support for editors and promo producers and sometimes a shoulder to cry on. Advise on certification issues and audio visual quality. Part of Sky’s BSA committee.When my secondment ended after 2 years I was grateful for all I got to learn and experience, looking forward to sinking my teeth into the creative once again.

    Offline and online editing on various types of television programmes. Ranging from reality, magazine, music and drama, these shows were produced predominantly for DSTV, Africa's largest satellite network. My work also included music videos, commercials and movies. The variety of the work allowed me to collaborate with very talented and passionate individuals, which always inspire me to do my best work.

    Conceptualizing, Scripting, Editing and Directing On-Air Promos, commercials and inserts. Also conceptualizing, directing and implementing On Air Branding and graphics. Basically a Promo Producer, but director was my official title and it does sound cool. The gap year gave me some much needed perspective and being back in the directors seat was heaven. Unfortunately the company lost their Entertainment Promos contract and I decided to enter the freelance market.
