    Objectives of the Position• Responsible for leading and managing communication and advocacy efforts with corporate and private sector to generate support and commitment to control TB and occupational health diseases in the Mines of Zambia • Identifying and mapping corporate and private stakeholders who can be mobilized to support the control of TB and Occupational Health diseases in the mines in Zambia• Organizing round table/thematic group meetings with the private sector on partnership and the need for more social responsibility for the occupational health of miners in the country; Key Achievements • Mapped all private health facilities in the country and established level of TB service provision by each facility making it easier to determine level of engagement for each respective private health care provider.• Drafted and coordinated the finalization of the Service Level Agreement (SLA) between Ministry of Health and Private Health Facilities. This is a national document which formalizes the engagement of private health facilities in the response to TB at district level. • Wrote concept notes/proposals on the following key innovations in the management of TB.o February 2018 – Result Based Financing Approach for TB Control and Care in Zambia – received NO Objection from the World Bank for implementation for the period August 2018 to December 2021.o April 2018 – Nutritional and Transport Support for Multi-Drug Resistance Tuberculosis (MDR-TB) Patients in Zambia – received NO Objection from the World Bank for implementation for the period September 2018 to December 2021.o August 2018 - Recruitment of Multi-Drug Resistance Tuberculosis (MDR-TB) Nurses for Community Based Management of MDR-TB Patients in Zambia – received NO Objection from the World Bank for implementation for the period February 2019 to December 2021.
