    More Than You Think Ltd is the coaching, mentoring and small business consultancy that I started in March 2014. It is a logical extension of my growing involvement in professional coaching and mentoring and my passion for helping others transform their ideas, their businesses and ultimately their lives into something greater than they might have thought possible.The name of my business is intended to be ambiguous and to invite curiosity. Some of the ideas behind it are;- We often limit what we can do because we label ourselves as "the sort of person who could not do that, could not lead like that, could not be like that, could not change like that...." We become what we think or what others think of us and it might be limiting.- All passion, committment and connectedness grow from what what is personal, what we feel. Enduring success is an emotional affair..great thinking is necessary, but it is not sufficient.Although I work across many sizes of business, and have had clients in other professional fields (academia/legal..) over 80% of my clients are in 'early stage' companies often venture backed. My definition of 'early stage' is broad and runs from pre-seed/seed through to Series B and eventual sale/exit. My business has evolved relationally with all of my new clients coming by word of mouth and personal recommendation. The focus of my work is to help people and organisations develop and achieve improved results. I am particularly interested in; - how entrepreneurs scale themselves to navigate the difficult transition from being a founder to becoming a highly effective CEO. - how leadership teams come together to deliver what the business and their stakeholders need them to deliver. - how to provide a personalised, challenging and risk managed learning environment.I am always looking to develop my capabilities and recently qualified as a coach-mentor supervisor. This means in addition to my coaching I now support the development of other coaches.

    Since June 2012 I have been developing a business / executive coaching practice. In my work I look for relationship, diversity and adventure and I follow projects where I sense that I bring energy and capability to help clients achieve long term exceptional performance in their professional endeavours . I like to think that I can continue to bring the strengths that others have seen in me; my business acumen, my integrity, my authenticity, my courage and my development of others to my ongoing work. For my professional development as a coach I am studying for an Advanced diploma in Coach-Mentoring accredited at senior practitioner level by the EMCC. This involves 500 hours of study over a 10 month period.For my spiritual development I continue as an active member of the International Christian Community of Provence.

    I have held several senior global HR Roles in Mars Inc. businesses. I have also worked as a European Sales Director and within the Mars Inc. supply chain. In addition to a breath of experience across all aspects of HR in a context of global, regional and local organisations I also have specific experience in business/culture integration post acquisition, and business turnaround. My most recent appointment (2007 to 2012) was as Global Head of HR for Royal Canin, a premium pet nutrition business of Mars, Inc. based in Aimargues, France. In this role I was responsible for developing and implementing an HR strategy and organisation in a newly acquired Mars business that had little HR infrastructure.Prior to this I was European Sales Director for a BTB Office Coffee business of Mars, and before that Head of HR for Mars Electronics. I have also held HR roles in Snackfood.
