Coleman John Archer’s new audio book, “The Secret of Palo Duro” is about the legendary treasure cave of the Palo Duro canyon. According to word-of-mouth accounts, a tribe of pre-historic “little people” lived in the canyon until semi-modern times, recent enough that they fought with (and lost to) the immigrating Indian tribes that were arriving in this area a few thousand years ago.In, “The Secret of Palo Duro”, the main character, Zed, while being pursued by Kiowa warriors in the 1870’s, rescues a beautiful Indian slave girl, White Fawn, and together they find a secret entrance to a pre-historic cave dwelling in the canyon wall. Breaking through the long sealed cave opening, they find themselves face to face with a 12,000 year old culture of golden objects, strange animals and human sacrifice that is totally unknown to them. Though Zed and his new love continue on his cowboy quest, the strange contents of the gold treasure cave of the Palo Duro haunt him the rest of his days. Using instructions told to him by Zed, Zed’s son Matt was able to find one entrance of the cave about 20 years later. Today, neither entrance to the cave is known, though Mr. Archer has collected his findings and presents them as puzzle pieces in his new audio book, “The Secret of Palo Duro”.just released at www.WestchaseStudios.com on audio CD disks that can play in almost any car, computer or CD player.

Imagine a gigantic warehouse full of military engineers and math nerds that have been hired to retool the entire military aviation industry towards consumer passengers, ... and you have a Convair circa 1952. It was an incredibly fun, challenging, demanding time, and I relished it!
