During my tenure at Goodman Elementary I have completed Literacy Lab Training and training in the implementation of Davis Learning Strategies for struggling readers. I am extremely passionate about literacy and teaching children "outside the box" strategies to become proficient problem solvers. I believe that building impactful, lasting relationships with students is the the key to building lifelong learners. This philosophy led me to be named the 2017 Gold Star Teacher of the Year for the Neosho School District.
