    I assist in research that involves trying to find tomato breeds that could be grown year-round in south Texas and still retain all the properties that consumers look for when purchasing tomatoes. In my time here I have assisted in the use of cutting edge drone imaging and high powered computing to make 3D maps of the fields to track plant growth, yield, and disease. I have also helped conduct lab testing to determine more precise information about each breed of tomatoes.
