As AGM I was responsible for the flawless running a fine dining restaurant by developing the team of 10 and ensuring they provide exceptional bespoke customer service. For the past three months I have been deeply involved with all aspects of running the restaurant, acting as General Manage and supporting the Operations Manager and the HR department.Among all the the duties listed below, I was responsible for organising parties and events at the venue (for private and corporate), being the first contact with the customer at the moment of the enquiry, following all the bookings and making sure everything was running smoothly according to the customer’s requests.

As AGM I was responsible for supporting the General Manager in the management of the entire restaurant’s operations, including a very busy summer terrace, serving traditional southern Italian cuisine and cocktails.Duties:• Leading the restaurant team in successful day-to-day operations (including 15 floor staff);• Participating in personal decisions regarding the restaurant team, including transfers, terminations, identifying talent and recruiting;• Training and developing the restaurant team, especially FOH staff;• Assisting the General Manager in performing administrative duties including payroll, inventory, supplies and drink ordering and stock counting, proper cash handling, and ensuring that all financial (invoices, reporting), HR, and Payroll administrative duties are completed accurately, on time, and in accordance with company policies and procedures;• Ensuring that safety and security standards are emphasized and adhered to, and that employees are trained in appropriate responses to unsafe situations;• Maintaining a clean restaurant with excellent quality food and customer service;• Leading by example and being a role model of the standards and behaviours consistent with Ostuni’s values and culture;• Acting as General Manager when General Manager is not present in restaurant.
