    Throughout my final year at university I worked as a Duty Manager at Liquorland Leith Street and Liquorland Andersons Bay. This position required me to work as part of a team in an effective manner, and to ensure my team and myself maintained excellent customer service.As my role is a duty manager, this requires me to take control of the day-to-day conduct in the store during my shifts. Often these shifts were during the weekend, or busy week nights.

    This year I was employed as a Pacific Island tutor for Laws101, the compulsory first year course for all potential law students. My role as a tutor saw me running weekly tutorials and office hours, covering the material students learnt in lectures, and teaching them how to apply this to past exams.In addition, I also met with a lot of students one on one. Taking them through specific areas they were struggling with or talking them through their feedback from their assignments. This job was very rewarding, seeing students grow in confidence and knowledge. And it required me to remain professional, yet approachable to the students.
