Capture and enter all reports in THISIS in real time, resulting in accurate data management for each patient.• Receive, review, and analyze DSHS required monthly and yearly correctional reporting forms from 20 facilities for accuracy, including submission to Globalscape for central office to review and approve.• Create, present, and manage patient files, summary presentations and cohort reviews for cases and suspects who are under the care of the Regional Medical Director.• Perform contact investigations through interviews for infectious cases and suspects to manage and track TB outbreaks, investigate and collect information to ensure timely medical evaluation is performed on all contacts.• Cooperate, maintain and foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including laboratories, local health departments, state agencies, hospitals, correctional facilities, physicians, community-based organizations and individuals from a variety of cultures, including high-risk populations.• Coordinate and request consultations with TB Experts at Heartland National TB Center and the Texas Center for Infectious Disease for case sensitive patients.• Implement procedures for prevention, management, surveillance and control of TB through presentations, meetings, and educational materials for correctional facilities, detention centers, and shelters in PHR8.• Onboard contractors how to assist with data entry, accessing and using THISIS the state database, as well as our local databases.
