Over the nearly four-year journey at ESF, I oversaw the community communications of the largest building project in the organisation's history – the Island School Redevelopment Project. I assisted the Director of Communications, Principal and Communications Manager on external and internal communications planning and execution. Externally, I acted as the face of the redevelopment project in the local community in the Mid-Levels, liaising and handling complaints and queries from the neighbours with the project’s main contractor, government departments, and the district councillor. I also developed and implemented proactive community engagement strategies which showcased the project’s progress, including communications content such as newsletters and social media postings. Event-wise, I led the team in organising the groundbreaking and topping-out ceremonies in 2019 and 2021, respectively.Internally, I worked alongside the school’s Communications Manager across a wide range of communications projects, including weekly newsletter, redevelopment fundraising campaign, donors and stakeholders engagement, as well as organising whole school events.Apart from copy editing and story writing, I also covered the planning and production of various themed videos, from storyboarding, scriptwriting to editing.
