  The Vanilla Pod

    I created and currently manage the website for The Vanilla Pod, a highly popular and award-winning restaurant just outside of London. One of the major elements of this project was the creation of an online menu. In an effort to be more sustainable and COVID-19 safe, the restaurant migrated its menu to the website, using iPads instead of paper menus. This was a huge success and the website gets 1000s of views a week from all around the UK and beyond. This was an ongoing role that involved regular editing of the website and weekly updating of the various menus. Occasionally I created social content for The Vanilla Pod.

    As a freelance copywriter at Copify, it was my job to write SEO blog articles and social content for an incredibly wide range of businesses. Quickly getting to grips with a client's unique tone of voice, I would perform some in-depth research to get to grips with the topic then dive right into creating some great copy.In my time at Copify, I had many happy clients, many of them sought me out directly to write for them after my first few jobs, and I developed some great working relationships.

    As a features writer for Seren I wrote articles, opinion pieces, news features and reviews about various TV shows, both current and classics. I later moved up to sub-editor for the TV section, commissioning and editing articles, formatting and uploading pieces to the website, all in line with the editor's content strategy.
