Kosovo: Researching Female Inter-ethnic Cooperation in Kosovo.Interviewing civil rights advocates, politicians, civil servants etc, to examine the possibilities for women to unite under cause of female rights and empowerment across ethnic lines that are traditionally opposed (specifically Serb and Albanian). Also gathered data from secondary sources such as government and non-governmental organisation reports, newspaper articles, twitter, press releases etc. Wrote a report on my findings, including recommendations for the NGO sector in Kosovo to find new approaches to improving inter-ethnic cooperation.Jordan: Researching Conflict Education in Syria.Interviewing stakeholders, public officials, NGO workers, academics, researchers etc. Specifically conducting an analysis of the institutional and non-governmental architecture for education in Syria during the civil war (up to 2018 at time of research). Made recommendations based on identified trends and challenges facing actors providing education in Syria.Used a variety of research techniques including group interviews, one-to-one interviews as well as data analysis from quantitative studies and discourse/textual analysis from reports, speeches and various forms of media.

Involved running committee meetings, overseeing all facets of the society and managing committee members, creating marketing strategies to increase student outreach and attendance, running termly LAN events for up to 100 students, running social events for students in weekdays, running weekly Smash bros events. Also involved lobbying to Student Union for resources, which was extremely successful, as well as coming up with strategies to further monetise events and increase society profitability, allowing future capacity building to further enhance offered services.Also created a new series of Smash Bros tournaments, occurring three times a year, which garnered over 100 attendants by its 5th rendition. This includes running all operational and logistical aspects of these tournaments, as well as overseeing its marketing wing, ensuring the event is run smoothly to encourage participants to re-attend next time.Society membership increased from 70 to 110 members during term as chair, after it had previously declined annually for 3 consecutive years.
