    Responsibilities:Writing reports and memo’s, assist consular services, manage the embassy’s online presence, represent the embassy at functions, coordinate with external partners and respond to public inquiries.Achievements:Ambassador Eikeland and I introduced the initiative “Diplomats for Equality”. I coordinated the first ever participation of the diplomatic corps (20 stations; 90 people) in the Dublin Pride Parade 2019. Furthermore, I drafted and forged a consensus on a collective press statement* in support of Dublin Pride.I helped to plan the visit from the Norwegian Parliament’s Foreign Affairs and Defence Committee. The Committee came to Ireland in April 2019 on a study trip in light of Brexit and the Irish backstop.I were responsible to plan and execute cultural events with local partners. I lead the initiative to create the Scandinavian Bloomsday (June 16) celebration, in partnership with the James Joyce Centre in Dublin, covered by Irish Times and Aftenposten (Norwegian national newspaper). Also marketed and represented the embassy at all Norway related events at the Irish Film Festival. Coordinated and secured funding for 15 Norwegian authors at the Literary Festival Dublin. Lastly, I assisted the ambassador to establish a cooperation with the Irish Wheelchair Association (IWA) to promote universal access and inclusivity.

Eidene is run by Norergian Red Cross Society and is a camp for adults and children. The participants have different health conditions, varying in both mental and physical issues. I had an array of responsibilities, such as to administer medication, manage their pocket money, assist with personal hygiene, help them with time-management and accompany them to the different activities.
