      - I would have daily rushes across 5 blocks of a 10 part-series. I worked closely underneath 5different editors/directors, labelling and managing all footage and assembles, fine cuts ontoEncodi.• I was required to do temp track laying, temp VFX with After Effects, sourcing SFX from my ownpersonal SFX library and using my library music and stock footage contacts for suggestedshots for production.• I was asked by the Producer to cut a Sizzle Reel for MIPCOM, it was after impressing them withmy cutting skills that I was asked to do all episode recaps and ‘next times’ for the entire series. As well as editing a 2nd reel for the Wrap Party.• I was turning over all 10 episodes for online, grade, audio mixing, music composing and visualeffects as well as making multiple documents on all VFX, Online, ADR & Stock Footage notesfor each episode.• My final task was cutting together a piece for SKY on Demand, a conversation between StanLee and James Nesbitt, the piece would be additional promotional content for the show.

    • Assistant Editor
      • Jun 2014 - Jan 2016

Working as the Assistant Editoron 'Moving On' (BBC, 2014) and on 'Close to the Enemy' (2017)'Moving On'My job entailed collecting footage and then making a back-up copy of the footage on an LTO. I would log and prep scenes in the appropriate scene bins in AVID. I would then export the assembled cut and upload it online for viewings. My other jobs during post-production included exporting casting videos for my producer, clearing music and tape tests.'Close to the Enemy'The shooting took place for four months in Liverpool, I was responsible for collecting footage and returning to my base to log footage into bins in AVID. I’d export a H.264 of Dailies and upload to a cloud platform (Aframe & DAX Cloud) and distribute the link for dailies. I would also, on some occasions, be requested to sit with the director of an evening after filming and take him through the dailies footage.I was then brought down to London for six months, where my tasks consisted of VFX work in AVID, laid down temp SFX and music tracks. I organised screenings with my Post-Producer and would liaise with the Production office daily.I was asked by my editor to do a first cut of episodic recaps and previews, I was on call to export a variety of aaf, edl and qt’s for ADR, online and our composer as well as liaising with our VFX team keeping track of all VFX shots required throughout and then turning over for online.
