    WPIRS (WholePerson Impairment Rating Systems) is my most recent corporate foray in the impairment rating industry. We provide consulting and impairment rating review (IRR) services. IRRs are full case reviews that not only verify the calculations, but also the relevant components included in those calculations. We have saved our clients millions of dollars, and also made sure that patients get what they are entitled to receive.     A critical care nurse by training, I am a nurse advocate for patients who have experienced severe and complex trauma, injuries that are usually a result of a work-related accident. My role is to advocate on behalf of the patient, find appropriate specialized care, and case management. My specialty is "impossible" cases.I take on a very limited number of cases, and only those that are complex (the more complicated, the better!) and that interest me.     EME International is a continuance of my professional focus on impairment ratings and the associated cost containment that benefits impairment ratings done correctly. Under EME International, we updated our WholePerson software to include versions that covered the AMA's "Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment," 5th and 6th editions. We continued to offer accredited courses for doctors and other healthcare professionals. EME also offered the first (exclusive) impairment rating testing for the designated doctor system in Texas, as well as doctors who perform impairment ratings in Nevada. The result is CIRS, or Certified Impairment Rating Specialist, a certification we established and can be used by doctors anywhere.EME also held the prestigious WBENC designation.

    WholePerson Technologies, Inc. developed the first software that automated the AMA's "Guide to Permanent Impairment," 3rd edition, 3rd edition revised, and 4th edition books. We also developed accredited courses for medical providers on how to perform impairment ratings. The AMA "Guides" are used in most states and federally to determine permanent impairment in a workers' compensation case and is often used to determine the financial compensation for a work-related impairment.
