Responsible for Mexico Development while assuring styles aligned with the DC brand identity, from initial concept to commercialization (including Stages 1, 2, and 3 - Full Size Run, which consisted of checking all vital measurements and grading). Handled cost negotiations with factories directly to achieve minimum target margins. Assigned material numbers, color codes, and set up all style information in PLMF/Frontech system seasonally. Followed up with fit tests, working with factories on improvements prior to production. Managed certain inline models from tech pack to commercialization, entering specs in the system (based off tech packs) and issued SOI’s to the factories for PLR, FLA and SMS stages. Handled thorough analysis of CBD’s (cost breakdowns) to ensure yields, LDPS, and costs for each component had no hidden charges in order to maintain target margins. Communicated with the international factories daily, notifying them of any pertinent updates. Responsible for thoroughly checking every sample stage and ultimately approving confirmation samples before models entered production. Handled TOP review and quality follow-up with each assigned model. Acted as liaison between regional leads and the factories when ordering global pre-line and marketing sample requests for R1 and R2 rounds. Seasonally provided black and white shoe image line art for all inline, SMU, and collaboration models to box supplier. Acted as the department’s super user for PLMF/Frontech system. Responsible for validating the line, ensuring all developer information (such as HTS/tariff, production lead times, tooling charges, etc.) was correctly entered before pushing for SMS and mass production. Generated buy logs for inline models and snowboard boots (which have separate timelines)

Worked very closely with design and buying teams to review all production samples and identified any issues before giving final approval for production for both the Shoedazzle and Justfab brands. Created and managed line plans in Andromeda PLM system to ensure styles were prepped for purchase order stage. Worked with vendors on adjusting exit factory dates and granted extensions in Merlin system, and continually kept merchants in the loop on production timelines. Worked closely with PD team to ensure production techpacks were submitted in accordance to our calendar.
