Led and negotiated a leveraged management buy-out backed by a leading PE investor and RBS of the asset management systems division from Finastra to create Rhyme Systems in 2003, for £20m. Cut costs and grew new revenue streams to deliver 20-25% EBITDA, then led the trade sale of Rhyme via an auction process to Indian listed company 3i Infotech in 2006 for over £30m. 3i Infotech, a spin off from ICICI Bank, acquired Rhyme as a platform to launch into Europe, where they had almost no presence or experience. As the regional President, advised the Group CEO of 3i Infotech on the launch strategy identified and organised the acquisition of two complimentary product companies, hired industry specialists to grow the business, and headed all of 3i Infotech's business operations in Europe.
