    The Pennypack Ecological Restoration Trust is a land conservancy that manages and protects 852 acres of natural land in the central Pennypack Creek watershed (Montgomery Country, PA). As Executive Director I’ve pushed our Strategic Objectives forward by: -Enabling program and research-driven growth through strategic staff changes & expansion -Tripled class offerings and quadrupled attendance. -Implemented a new habitat management program that is planned and tracked through GIS (Collector) and GPS locators. -Administered 2 major conservation easements totaling 26.6 acres. -Implemented a cost-effective 403(b) program for all FT and PT staff to retain key staff. -Become immersed in the culture of the Trust, from maintenance crews to board committees and multiple town councils. Facilities Management: -Planned modernization of building to be energy efficient, multi-role, and to grow capacity for staff, volunteers, research institutions, and local schools-Improved the interconnection of outdoor and indoor spaces in all revitalizations.-Created a new board committee focused on facilities & property management and future property acquisitions. Budget Planning and Management: -Modelling budget trends over a 5-year horizon.-Improving sustainable management of endowments, gifts, & dues. -Piloting a comprehensive 3-year capital budget.Events & Outreach: -Assisting the Board in the creation of a variety of new events aimed at increasing membership and average membership levels from our diverse context. -Mining recent census data to understand our next generation of donors-Improving social media outreach to achieve higher event participation and greater visibility.-Fostering new relationships with upstream townships, to finance GSI projects-Increasing participation of local businesses to support the Trust.
