    * Created a custom OpenAM installer script using a base configuration template for a standardized build allowing for customization for entities, agents, and COT, for both a Docker and server set ups. Developed multiple grails web apps with look-ups to both REST and LDAP services.* Set up multiple scripts using Selenium to automation certain QA processes for Provincial department. Created a 3 and 6 month Continuous Integration (CI) implementation plan to include deploying a Jenkins Servers with integrations to existing git and Jira. Spoke to stakeholders of understanding the keys to successful implementation of a CI deployment requires the adoption of principals not just the installation of tools.* Setup and configured a Liferay site for a Healthcare client. Created hooks, and search indexes in Lucene for a Liferay portlet project.     * Developed a open source platform to facilitate viewing and sharing of technical manuals for the US Army. The applications residing in Apache Tomcat consisted of servlets for web access and set of SOAP web services created in Axis2. The web services comprised of an Admin, Bookshelf, Navigation, Library, IETM, and PDF. The Bookshelf and Library service house an embedded open source XML database (eXist) to store the technical manuals. The application build process was designed to be customized to the client’s needs using Apache Maven.*Developed a common XMLDB layer in Java using the eXist API to allow inserting, updating, deleting of XML and binary files (multimedia). The common layer would be used by each service in conjunction with over 250 XQL (SQL for XML databases) to handle all db activities from user info, file transactions, security and validation types of requests. * Created Java Web Starts (JNLP) and a PHP interface within Tomcat to handle inputting new books into the Bookshelf. Books stored in the Bookshelf are drafts for viewing published work in progress. The Library service acts as a central repository for shared manuals for group work and to aid in training. Library Service operates on a peer management system allowing existing project users to grant registered users access to projects where they are a member.* Developed multiple Drupal sites (open source web CMS) using common modules including bug tracking, forums, secure downloads, and internal/external notifications(emails).* Secondary support for Web Composetool to US Army providing time estimates, bug fixes and identifying / debugging any issue with the software. Remotely installed/configured a development Red Hat (Linux) Server to house a server version of web composetool for the US Army. Wrote 60+ scripts, crons, and tasks in Windows 7 and Linux to automate backing up (CMS, eXist, and MySQL), checking out of SVN, and publishing latest trunk to development web server with Maven.

    * Engineered multiple Java applications that would interface between the Global Campus data (online campus initiative) and the university’s ERP system (SCT Banner) to create XML documents for 3rd party vendors as well as updating Oracle tables to track changes and any errors.* Developed a Java Messaging Service (JMS) application that reads a flat file then populates Enterprise Objects to create/update multiple Account Receivable tables using a Connector to SCT Banner and then emails the client a report of the transactions.* Created Oracle procedures that take advantage of the SCT Banner’s API to populate test environments with Finance and HR records encompassing receiving, purchase orders, GAR & SAR records, benefits, deductions, and bio-demo information for each of 43 different employee class groups. *Created & loaded over 7 thousand contrived users with 3 months of payroll data with custom Oracle procedures and APPWORX chains to process contrived payroll information to test new technology changes.* Technical Lead for corporate reporting. Supplied time estimates for fixes/changes, as well as implemented change controls for promoting reports back to production. Assisted senior management in plotting the course of the university’s reporting architecture.* Organize and solve Clarify tickets for production issues by working with key stakeholder including functional users, Decision Support, DBA group, and Data Analyst’s.     * To address the importance and the availability of data for an optical component manufacturing facility with annual revenue of over 18 million dollars, a data warehouse was successfully designed and developed. With delays and outages of information costing thousands of dollars it was also important to develop a system that had several backup options including duplicate universes and reporting options. Performed as a DBA and created the data warehouse using a snowflake schema with multiple fact tables. The data was moved between platforms using scheduled FTP files that triggered Perl scripted Oracle SQL loaders. The SQL loaders imported a minimum of 200,000 rows of data a day.* Created 135 Business Objects reports from the data warehouse, which were updated over 1000 times a day and stored on the server in HTML format. Users also had the ability to create, store and share their own customized reports using a graphical web interface (Web Intelligence). The user community grew from 2 departments (20 users) to 5 (over 150 users) in under a 3-month period. The customer base included Engineers, Planners, Operational Managers and Directors of Manufacturing Operations.* Designed a Visual Basic application to count raw material components at key inventory locations. This allowed cycle counters to query / update raw material quantities from the data warehouse and provided a means of auditing physical inventories. The application also enabled senior management to identify / track problem components and predict material shortages, preventing stoppages in production.* Managed a mid-sized file and web server for over 500 customers from 7 departments including Documentation, Finance, Engineering and Manufacturing Operations. It was the administrator's responsibility to monitor all activities that affect the server including: file backup, account management, web site creation and server utilization.
